This message is intended to promote the virtues of Whale Wharf as a great nudist location. I have been there often this year, weather permitting, to spend the day naked outdoors with a female friend. It's a more local alternative to Studland in Dorset, which I love but which is a 2 hour drive away. However, at Studland it's also great to know that you will meet fellow nudists.
Unfortunately, I seem to be the only nudist who knows about Whale Wharf. A great shame as it's perfect for being naked. It's isolated location makes it perfect for both, and the views out across the Severn Estuary are beautiful. I often strip off at my car, parked in the small car park at the end of the long lane leading from the village, and walk naked from there with just my rucksack and towel. Either alone or with a girlfriend, there is often no one else about.
But where are all my fellow nudists. I hope you read this and feel like checking it out. Hope to see you all there soon.
I managed a visit last August... I enjoyed a naked run along the riverbank too. Amazingly quiet and the carriage is quite a landmark - hard to miss. I hope to go "running" there if we get any belting sunny Saturday mornings between now and July... my opportunities are limited, alas.
I live the other side of Bristol and been looking for a place like this for years usally go to that island the far side of weston for some nude sunbathing there are some other bathers on ocasions but this place sounds just about right will certainly be heading there this summer thats if the carpark isnt full by how many people has read your blog
Hi, I go there whenever the sun is warm/hot and I want to walk, swim and sunbathe nude for several hours. This cold, dull winter that seems to be dragging on forever must end soon and I just like to think of the Whale Wharf coast on a hot summers day and me standing, completely naked, looking at the view of the Severn Estuary. It's a tranquil spot that more nudists/hedonists should get to know.
Hope to see you there sometime.
Hi fellow nudists.
Has anyone else been to Whale Wharf nudist beach this summer? If so I'd be interested to hear what you think of it and what you did there? Perhaps we can meet for some nude activities there next summer?
Hi Bob and Jules,
If you visit Whale Wharf this weekend, for which the forecast is for hot, dry and sunny weather, then I hope you enjoy the place. You'll see it at its best.
I'm probably going to drive to Studland to meet up with some nudist friends. Take the opportunity if you can to walk naked from the car park and enjoy the freedom. If you walk for about half a mile you'll see an old railway carriage next to the track - that's a good, flat place to lay out your rug or towels and relax.
Hope to meet you both out there some time.
