Due to the fact that my eyes are a very important part of my job, I'm a seafarer, I tend to wear sunglasses whenever I am in strong sunlight. They are very useful at protecting the eyes from harmful UV light etc.
What are the communities thoughts on wearing sunglasses on nude beaches etc?
Sunglasses are not a problem as I see it, most everyone at the resorts I've been to had some with them. Gotta protect the eyes from too much UV exposure, just like sunscreen for the skin only for the eyes. Go ahead and take'em with ya so ya gott'em when ya need'em. I don't see where anybody is gonna object to you wearing sunglasses, kinda expected/accepted. I wear mine and a cap sometimes too to reduce the sun in the eyes.
I see no problem with it, as you are being practical--besides the reflection off the water (lake, sea, whatever) can be blinding at times. I wear glasses anyhow, so I have snap-on sunglasses that are easy to remove. However, I think some people might wear them just to hide the fact that they are staring at someone.
