Yes you are right about checking in more often, mea culpa.
However I was finishing up my roofing project and getting ready to go to Idaho the last week of July. It was nice there-warm but low humidity.

Everything went real fine. However I did blister my shoulders pretty good after the first 3 days in the pool. Liberal doses of 100% Aloe Vera gel helped alot with that, and limiting sun exposure for a few days. I managed 197 hours total with no clothes on, a new personal record. It's a pretty nice place, lots of friendly folks there. We plan on returning sometime, as it's only 160 mile trip for us, closest one to home we can find. If you checked in a little more often you would have known sooner and could have made plans.
