I do feel that a picture on one's profile is fairly essential, even if it is only a head and shoulders shot. The human face and the expression is one of the most important parts of human communication. As for nude photos, well this is a nudist website!
Porthos how true. A client of mine saw my picuters on here and I got more than just more work. I think she must have shared them with everyone in the office because I always get a nice big smile when I walk in thier door. Mind you I did lose one client but that was because I'm Pagan and they were very conservitive right wing Christians.
For the majority of people I can see no reason why they cannot display at least a head shot. However I think it can depend on individual circumstances.
There are those that choose not to show their picture due to their profession(although there seems to be a few too many people with normal everyday jobs that use this as an excuse).
Personally I felt that it was only right for me to display a photograph of myself so that others could see who I was. After all if you're comfortable to be naked around others, why would you worry about people seeing a photo.
If nothing else it's always nice to put a face to the name!
u can blame me for a lot of stuff. but, dont ever tell me i am a fake, just because i dont have a pic. YOU tell mehow to upload a pic from a blackjack phone and we will start rolling. nntil then keep ur mouth shut!
I am new to this open nudity stuff also, unfortunately my wife does not share the same feelings about it. This forces me to enjoy the lifestyle discreetly. I wish It was'nt like that. I' nothing great to look at, but I'm doing this for me. I'm not shy about myself and I feel the human body is a wonderful thing. The only thing I dislike is persons who are fake, both surgically and the facades they put up. Here's my pic. Unfortunately, I did hide my face.
It's not to be a false person, but to avoid an unpleasant situation if it's found by the wrong person. I do travel for work and during the summer I try to incorparate the lifestyle but I find it hard being a single male nudist. I do understand and respect the family values as I wish my family shared them also. Too bad a few bad apples has made it hard for the honest persons to enjoy themselves.
I also wish more people would verify their pictures, like I did.
Verifying was one thing I never thought of doing, And yes you are right it isn't difficult. And is always nice to see who you are conversing with. I have also come across that I'll show you mine if you show me yours mentality. Which always puts doubts into the mind as to the reality of the other person. I have seen quite a few reasons why pics are not posted but really no one is going to sacked from a job because they are a nudist/naturist. Friends always understand in the end. And family will always accept you for who you are. So I can't say for happens elsewhere in the world but here you cannot be discriminated against because of a lifestyle choice. Legal issues would cost millions. Oe maybe is it that some enjoy being nude but are ashamed of others knowing it. That is outside of course all the fakes and perves who frequent.
I don't know why people don't put up pictures of themselves. Isn't it nicer to know who you are talking to?
I also wish more people would verify their pictures, like I did. It doesn't take that long to scan your passport or driving license and it makes you feel more confident that you know the person is real.
