Extrema has made a very good point (and one that seems supported by lots of the subsequent correspondents on here) but perhaps we need to look behind the assertion by so many nudists that their (our) lifestyle has nothing to do with sex. We live in a pretty sexually repressed society - don't be fooled by the apparrant plethora of sexual images, just look at the way the tabloids hypocritically pillory anyone they can get their grubby claws into (a mixed metaphor perhaps but you get my drift?) Naturists-nudists (I use the term interchangably) while having taken one step from the clothed norm are subject to the same social influences.

No matter that their stance is illogical to me (clothed or unclothed if I see an attractive woman I am interested!) you can see the origins of their prudishness: an attempt to assert a "respectability" (sic) to their way of life.

Personally, I take Extrema's line and happily enjoy sex whether in a nudist setting or anywhere else it comes along. Being very much into the nude lifestyle it happens just to come along rather frequently in the guise of other nudists ..........

nudity is obviously part of sexuality, but it doesn't necessarily follow that sex has to be part of nudism - unless of course, you want it to be...
"live and let live" I say - do unto others.. and that also means not forcing unwanted beliefs onto others. Nudism with or without sex should both be possible - as some have suggested previously, it is a matter of selecting the right people (and the right time and place..) to hang out with.

Nudist appear to be a group of more tolerant individuals - they accept, skinny, fat, pretty, less pretty, handsome or quirky - generally more tolerant then mainstream folk. And it seems like some "Nudists" prefer to additionally define themselves as people who like to go nude!!! That's fine!!! And then there are others who prefer to define themselves as people who like to go nude, and if the occasion arises, and it's mutually agreed, also like to have sex. Me??? I think I fall into the latter category...LOL And as far as defining "Nudist" goes, I think we should stand by our self-descriptions of generally being more tolerant and accepting - just like we want others to be with us!! My point being is that I see bickering on here among folk who think nudism should stand for something other than just gettin' neked, enjoying sunshine all over your body, enjoying looking at anothers body, and for gawd sake just enjoying the moment of being alive and awake - we have an eternity to sleep. Now, as far as Extrema's body goes... well ...!! What can I say, except I reckon I can appreciate gorgeousness when I see it... !!! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

    Celib,

Nice posting but the decent guys here also need to know that not all of the women are genuine or honest here. It is not only the few good women who are having problems here. The decent guys need to be honest and upfront and not assume that just because a woman is on this site she is what she claims to be. The decent guys go through exactly what the decent women do in terms of avoiding the game players and fantasy seekers.

    Naturegirl,

It's great that you spell out what you are looking for. Many on this site say one thing and then go off and do something quite different. It then becomes a 'game' of trying to figure out what many are really looking for. There are some nice guys here who are actually genuine but they seem to be getting the short end of the stick as far as connecting with other genuine people. Do you have any suggestions for the decent guys here?

I agree 100%. Sexuality is the life force. It's central to who we are and why we're alive. So why not celebrate our bodies and share pleasure when it feels right? The only "immoral" aspect to this is if innocent parties are hurt or deceived.

I TOTALLY agree! If the nudity leads to a natural attraction and the chemistry is there....why NOT indulge in fulfilling those sweet desires? I am so glad I am not bound by the chains of denial of the beauty of unleashed sexuality. While this may seem unlady like to some, if I see something I like and the attraction seems mutual, I go for it..with GUSTO!

I love the feeling of freedom, being naked outdoors in the warm sun, and sometimes get aroused. If that should lead to sex, I don't have any hangups about it.

acdc, I hear you. I've felt the sun on my naked body - Black's Beach a few times. Live the freedom. I'm straight, don't appreciate the agressive gays. Hey go about your business and leave me alone. Homey don't go that way!

A true nudist is not paranoid they just want to be naked and feel the warm sun on their bodies and enjoy the freedom with other people
